I Remember KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT WITH MEMES

What is Memento?

Memento is a knowledge management system that works like a weblog. Where Memento differs from traditional journal weblogs is that it stores 'mind map'-style summaries of concepts and resources rather than daily entries. This puts what you've learnt in a form that's easier to remember and share with others.

Using Memento is deliberately simple, first you enter the knowledge you want to store, then you publish it to your personal webspace.

The units of knowledge in Memento are called memes, and are entered through your web browser. Memes consist of a central concept and any number of sub-concepts, together with a category, related URL bookmarks and relationships to other memes.

  • Sharing what you've entered is equally simple, Memento can automatically generate HTML pages for your memes and FTP them to your personal webspace. No manual editing is required, Memento even creates the indices for you.
